Congregación Mita, Inc. is a Christian Church whose doctrine is based on the Holy Bible and whose foundation is the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Doctrinal Profile is based on love; love for God above all and on the love of God, loving one's neighbor as we love ourself. By divine grace, parishioners have Faith and know and learn that the Lord's promises are true and real. Parishioners believe that the Bible is a testament of the Lord's Work since creation; they accept and emphasize the practice of the biblical precepts established by Christ in the New Testament. They firmly believe in the promise of Jesus Christ, who said He would send the Holy Spirit, the promised Consoler, to be with His children forever. On Faith, the Mita Church believes the Lord's Holy Spirit is on earth, that His new name is Mita and that, through Aarón, He governs His Church and guides it through truth and justice towards salvation. The Mita Church is founded on the spiritual environment of human beings. It is the continuation of the Primitive Church of the Apostles and Prophets that performs a work of good, acts on faith and is uplifting. By this means, God extended to the human beings the opportunity to attain what their lack of faith makes inaccessible: salvation and a full life in complete communion with the Creator. Such a life knows no limits because it is guided by the Lord's Holy Spirit.
The Mita Church proclaims a triple message of love, liberty and unity, so that all who feel the need for God may receive the word of redemption and transformation, making him or her a useful member of society. It is a message of love, because God is love and it is for love that He has come to earth to seek and save those souls submerged in evil actions. It is a message of liberty, because, through the Mita Church, God offers human beings the opportunity to be freed from the bonds of sin and to feel the presence of God within themselves. It is a message of unity, because it is a call to unity, as proclaimed by Christ when He raised to the Father the intercessor prayer mentioned by the Apostle John in his Gospel: " So that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."
The three colors of the Flag: red, white and blue, symbolize love, freedom and unity.
The Triumphal March: The official hymn, is a chant of victory for receiving the prophet and initiates the religious services. The carillon, located at the headquarters of the Church in San Juan, Puerto Rico, plays this melody at 6:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Mita members who hear the canticle place their right hand on their breast and say a prayer to God as a sign of reverence and in appreciation for the good things they have received.
The White Robe: The members of Mita dress in white at all official activities because in His prophecies God determined that it should be so, since white is the symbol of the purity and cleanliness of redeemed souls. This is the fulfillment of the Word narrated by John the Evangelist in Apocalypse, Chapters 7:13-17, when in revelation he saw a nation dressed in white and was asked, "Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from whence have they come?", and he replied, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
The Dove symbolizes the Lord's Holy Spirit that descended from heaven and rested over Jesus. In this third and final manifestation it is the Lord's Holy Spirit that is transforming in the redeemed souls.
The Star symbolizes God's guidance, since He led theThree Wise Men to Jesus. In 1940, God descended His Holy Spirit over Juanita García Peraza, commissioning her with this great Work of transformation, and one night, while she prayed, a star fell from the sky, struck her forehead and filled her with His light and virtue.
Congregación Mita is a nation of believers with one faith, one doctrine, one goal: It is a nation united by the indissoluble bonds of the love of God, transformed into action in their hearts.
The Mita Church has a Ministerial Body consisting of male and female Preachers and Deacons. This body is directed by Aarón (Teófilo Vargas Seín), the Instrument of God for this Ministry. The Pastors and Deacons are persons who are faithful to the Church and its doctrine, have irreproachable spiritual and moral testimony, and carry out activities inherent to their Ministry. Such activities include:
Preaching during the services and religious activities inside and outside the temples
Visiting parishioners to become acquainted with their needs and circumstances
Counseling newly-converted brethren
Visiting the sick at home and in hospitals
Arranging funeral services
Our religious services are dedicated one day a week to youths, children and testimonials:
Youth services involve the total participation of young persons and include biblical studies, counseling meetings on subjects of interest for youths, recitals, musical concerts, special programs and other activities.
Children's services teach children Christian doctrine and moral and spiritual values.
Testimonial services are for parishioners to give testimony on the transformation of their lives and what they have received from God.
In addition to attending religious services, members of the Church pray, read biblical texts, sing hymns, and discuss doctrinal matters. In predication, the messages are based on the Holy Bible, testimony of the work of transformation that the Lord performs in those human beings who accept Him as their guide and redeemer, and there is the testimony of healings that the Lord's Holy Spirit continues to carry out, day after day, as in ancient times. At the end of each service, Aarón, the Prophet of God, brings to the Church his exhortation, teachings, and advice, as well as his words of inspiration and encouragement.
In general terms, the work of the ministry follows that of the Primitive Church established by Christ in the Holy Bible. The Pastors of the Mita Church do not receive any salary. They spread the gospel freely, for love of the souls, in reference to the words of Christ in the Gospel according to St. John, Chapter 10, Verses 11-13: "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose sheep are not his own, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. So, he flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep."
The members of the Church obey the Laws of God and Civil Laws, they do not enter into political-partisan controversies or into controversial discussions with other religions. They are exemplary citizens who do not imbibe alcoholic beverages, smoke or gamble. They are peaceful, honest, and respectful of themselves and ofl others.
We believe in teaching by example, that we must live what we preach.
We believe in the salvation of the soul and, on faith we believe in the existence of eternal life.
We believe the Holy Spirit is on earth and has come to perform a work of transformation in the conscience and heart of human beings, to change our lives, to make us good with ourselves and our fellow neighbors, and to make us fit to attain the salvation of our souls and eternal life.
We believe Aarón is the Prophet, the Instrument chosen by God in these days, and that it is through his voice that the Lord sends a message to cleanse us, free us of sin, and unite us in one flock.
We believe in the triple message of love, liberty and unity. We believe in love, because God is love, and in liberty, because the Lord's Holy Spirit has come to earth to free us because Christ said: "and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.", and, "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Clearly, He came as a liberator to rid man of sin and the sentence of death. And the Lord's Holy Spirit came to unite us, to tear down the intervening walls and to establish peace.
We believe in the Decalogue of the Spirit given to the person of Mita in 1940:
The Ministry of the Senses shall be the one that will remain alive. We shall hear the Holy Spirit, experience and feel His Voice, using the members of His children in this Ministry. By means of His Holy Spirit, we shall follow His Law, which is the covenant entered into with His People in these days.
The Holy Spirit shall work in this Ministry. For this reason:
We must submit solely to the ordinance of the Spirit, so that the servant of God will be bound and girded by the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Give Him our mind and He will reveal what we must do.
Give Him our mouth and He will do and speak what He wishes.
Give Him our heart and we will feel and speak His Law.
Give Him our hands and He will place them where necessary.
Give Him our feet and He will take you where He needs you.
Give Him our ears and we will hear His Voice.
Give Him our eyes and we will see the wonders of His Law.
Give Him our soul and we will not go to hell.
Give Him our entire body and we will be transformed by His image.
We, the Congregación Mita accept the Bible in all its essence. We emphasize that our doctrine is based on the precepts established by Christ. We do this, because we understand that it is the new covenant that God established with human beings for these latter days. We understand that now that Christ has come, He has amended the same rudiments that God had entrusted to Abraham and the Nation of Israel, to enter into a new phase, a new era, that we no longer have to keep the Sabbath, offer holocausts or sacrifices as in ancient times, or burn incense, since salvation now lies in human beings hearing the Voice of the Holy Spirit, who has come to earth to carry out His work of redemption.
